A former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives frequently declared that "all politics is local". He understood that the enthusiasm and effectiveness of the local Party organization greatly influenced the outcome of an election at national, state and county levels of government. The local organization can best register new voters, develop voter outreach programs, organize precinct walks, distribute campaign materials and conduct get-out-the vote campaigns.
The county Republican Party receives no financial assistance from the National Party or State Party to carry out any of these vital tasks. They must be financed with funds raised at the local level where organization determines whether elections are won or lost. Your contribution to one or more of the Party's three classes of financial support- Sustaining Member Program, Roundtable and Business Council- will ensure that Montgomery County remains solidly in the Republican column. The Party may accept contributions from individuals, political action committees (PAC), partnerships, professional corporations, professional associations and corporations.
