Filing for Precinct Chair Filing began Tuesday, September 13, 2011 and ends Monday, December 19, 2011. State Law requires that the application must be received at Montgomery County Republican Party Headquarters no later than December 19, 2011, at 6 p.m. A December 19, 2011, postmark does not satisfy the state law. HOWEVER, FILING WILL REOPEN AFTER THE COURTS DECIDE THE MAPS AND WILL CLOSE ON FEBRUARY 1, 2012 AT 6 P.M. How to file: Download the application and fill it out (click here) Have it notarized (You must turn it in already notarized. We cannot notarize it for you.) Deliver it to Republican Headquarters, either by mail or in person 310 Metcalf Street, Conroe, 77301 If you are a current precinct chairman, you still must fill out an application for the 2012 election.
